The Choice Vine
The word of the Lord to us was that Due Season was a “choice vine”. And that it was truly planted of the Lord. As a living, “choice vine,” The Lord has caused us to grow, that we may yield forth our fruit in our Due Season.
With simple, child-like faith, and an earnest desire to help a single individual understand the ministry of the prophetic, we opened our home and began to share and impart the insights that God had bestowed upon us. From that one seed of faith in 1995, God birthed forth this ministry. We embraced the prophetic word that confirmed the pastorial calling, waited for God to release us into the ministry through his apostles and prophets. In doing so, the Lord caused us to flourish by the rivers of living water. The miracle of our existence is symbolized by a tree planted by the rivers of living water. For the Lord directed us to conduct our first worship services as a church literally fifty feet from the Detroit River. We knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that Due Season was indeed planted of the Lord.
Zec 8:12 For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things. As we have continued to obey, the Lord has continued to enlarge our capacity to receive more, and to do more.
God revealed to us that we are to train, teach and equip the body of Christ, specifically to exercise full authority and dominion in the earth. We do not take lightly our commission from God to enable and empower the saints of God to reach their full maturity and authority in Christ. For we understand our purpose and our destiny. Due Season endeavors to provide a safe, nurturing and loving environment in order that individuals may be encouraged to flow in their giftings, God’s wisdom, and His precious anointing.
"To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and for ever." Amen. - Jude 1:25
